R E V I T C O M P O N E N T S is a Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Revit© content development practice based in Kansas City, Missouri. We support contract manufacturer’s, building design professionals, and BIM enthusiasts in development, distribution, implementation and marketing of Revit© content that enables effective decision making, time management, coordination, and collaboration.

Robert Glinn established Revit Components in 2008. He previously worked at BNIM Architect’s as an Interior Designer and BIM Manager where the need for quality Revit© building components in the form of the newly standardized Revit© software became evident. He developed and launched a subscription based website, www.revitcomponents.com, to showcase the models he was generating for personal use. A year following, he shifted attention to support a larger audience by providing the content for free and established a blog giving away some of the popular Families, www.revitcomponents.blogspot.com. The development of these sites guided him into working relationships with furniture manufacturers, generating hundreds of high-quality Revit© Families for various product lines, as well as into consulting with architectural and engineering firms, for assistance in creating Revit© templates and other needed Revit© content. Now, three years hence, his efforts have resulted in Revit© downloads exceeding several million.
Robert received his Bachelor of Interior Architecture, Furniture, and Product Design from Kansas State University.
Outside of the BIM arena he is a gallery artist, graphic designer, conservationist, beekeeper, edible forest gardener, permaculture design consultant and explorer.

How do I add or remove content?
After installation, you can add or remove Revit content using the Add or Remove Features utility.
To add or remove content
Windows: On the Windows Control Panel, click Add or Remove Programs, select the Revit application from the Currently Installed Programs list, and click Change/Remove.
Windows Vista/7: From the Start menu, select Control PanelProgramsPrograms and FeaturesUninstall or change a program, select the Revit application, and click Uninstall/Change.
On the installation page, click Add or Remove Features.
On the Add or Remove content page, select the content to add, or deselect the content you wish to remove.
Click Next to update your Revit installation.

REVIT.INI VẪN HIỆU LỰC TUY KHÔNG NHIỀU

Mặc định nằm tại đây sau khi cài đặt: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Revit Architecture 2012\Program\UserDataCache

Product key ở ngay file cài đặt khi tải về để giải nén ra nhé

Vẫn nên đặt "cấu hình chạy" cho revit.ini
Nếu bạn quản lý bảo mật "hơi tốt" thì hãy làm như sau để save được revit.ini


NHỮNG THIẾU SÓT ĐÁNG KỂ MÀ REVIT 2011 ĐÃ CÓ ... REVIT 2012 THÌ TÌM Ở ĐÂU???

-Do tính chất công việc, đôi khi chúng ta cần chuyển đổi Family Categories để "nhằm mục đích phục vụ công việc của mình" nó rất là quan trọng và cần phản hổi điều này nhằm nhà sản xuất ADSK có Update cho những lần sửa đổi bổ sung kỳ sau...
-Những gì đã cải thiệt tốt đẹp từ bản Revit 2012 đều được đánh giá cao và công nhận tốt đẹp.
-Tôi phải cảm ơn vì điều này, chức năng làm việc ở phần trình bày kiến trúc rất tốt và không trì trệ như 2010 và 2011.
Thử với "Generic Model Adaptive Component" thì thiếu quá nhiều để "chuyển đổi"

Thử với "Generic Model" thì thiếu "Boundary Condition" phần này mà Tam Đệ - Mr. Đào Ngoc Hùng đã phân tích

Thử với Generic còn lại là đủ...

Ưu điểm là "kéo dài được nha"

REVIT - CHÚ Ý KHI XUẤT BẢN TÀI LIỆU

-Nếu để Shading, Shadows, Gradients, hoặc Point clouds thì không thể thành tài liệu "vector color" được, kích thước, dung lượng của file rất lớn mà chất lượng nét màu lại không tốt.
*Hãy cân nhắc xem "có đáng là ảnh - raster" không nhé

PHƯƠNG ÁN CHỌN ...

Khi trình bày phương án thiết kế, đôi khi chẳng kịp chăm chút ...
Có những vấn đề rất đơn giản mà phát sinh, hôm rồi tôi phải làm nên mới động đến ...
-Có hai phương án trình bày sàn, có thể là thay đổi diện tích, kích thước, quy cách và vật liệu của từng phương án ...
Khi công việc gấp gáp và bù đầu, thật chẳng hơi đâu mà kiểm tra ở nơi ... "ngưỡng cửa (sổ, đi) - Sill". Nơi đó sẽ có thể có việc tường và sàn giao vào nhau ... và bạn hãy thử hình dung điều gì sẽ sảy ra ...
-Hôm nay kiếm "*.rfa" để lấy "khối" binh dự án mới, tình cờ mở cái cửa của bạn Đức, thấy bạn thông minh thế :P :D :))

An example of an unbiased render using Indigo RendererIn computer graphics, unbiased rendering refers to a rendering technique that does not introduce any systematic error, or bias, into the radiance approximation. Because of this fact, they are often used to generate the reference image by which other rendering techniques are compared to. Mathematically speaking, the expected value of the unbiased estimator will always be the correct value, for any number of samples. Error found in an unbiased rendering will be due to variance, which manifests itself as high-frequency noise in the resultant image. Variance is reduced by for n samples, meaning that four times as many samples are needed to halve the error. This makes unbiased rendering techniques less attractive for realtime or interactive rate applications. Conversely, an image produced by an unbiased renderer that appears smooth and noiseless is probabilistically correct.

A biased rendering method is not necessarily wrong, and it can still converge to the correct answer if the estimator is consistent. It does, however, introduce a certain bias error, usually in the form of a blur, in efforts to reduce variance and noise. It is important to note that an unbiased technique may not consider all possible paths. Path tracing can not handle caustics generated from a point light source, as it is impossible to randomly generate the path the directly reflects into the point. Progressive photon mapping, a biased rendering technique, can handle caustics quite well. PPM is also provably consistent, meaning that as the number of samples goes to infinity, the bias error goes to zero, and the probability that the estimate is correct reaches one.

A render demonstrating Indigo's realistic light simulation

Indigo Renderer is a 3D rendering software that uses unbiased rendering technologies to create photo-realistic images. In doing so, Indigo uses equations that simulate the behaviour of light, with no approximations or guesses taken. By accurately simulating all the interactions of light, Indigo is capable of producing effects such as:
Depth of field, as when a camera is focused on one object and the background is blurred; Spectral effects, as when a beam of light goes through a prism and a rainbow of colours is produced; Refraction, as when light enters a pool of water and the objects in the pool seem to be “bent”; Reflections, from subtle reflections on a polished concrete floor, to the pure reflection of a silvered mirror; Caustics, as in light that has been focused through a magnifying glass and has made a pattern of brightness on a surface.
Indigo uses methods such as Metropolis light transport (MLT), spectral light calculus, and virtual camera model. Scene data is stored in XML or IGS format.
Indigo features Monte-Carlo path tracing, experimental support for bidirectional path tracing and MLT on top of bidirectional path tracing, distributed render capabilities, and progressive rendering (image gradually becomes less noisy as rendering progresses). Indigo also supports subsurface scattering and has its own image format (.igs).
Indigo was originally released as freeware until the 2.0 release, when it became a commercial product.
